On December 14, OSH No. 19 hosted a friendly chess tournament between students of School No. 19 and pupils of the Alaman Chess Club of the Academy of Sports and Arts. The event was timed to coincide with the celebration of Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is celebrated on December 16. The tournament was held in a friendly and intellectual atmosphere, where participants demonstrated their skills, strategic thinking and the will to win. Such meetings not only strengthen the sports spirit, but also contribute to the development of the chess movement among young people.
