MORE THAN 1200 HEADS OF EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS GATHERED AT THE FORUM OF DIRECTORS IN ASTANA
🇰🇿 Topical issues in the field of education were discussed at the Forum of directors of public schools in Astana, Akmola, Pavlodar, Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions on the topic "Modern school management: trends and the future", organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of Nazarbayev University.
Minister of Education Gani Beisembayev took part in the interactive TEDx session. He noted important aspects of the development of the education system in the country. Special attention is paid to improving human resources.
"With the support of the Head of State, teachers' salaries have increased by 100% in four years, that is, doubled. In September 2023, the salary of preschool teachers increased by another 30%. Measures to support teachers will be continued. Starting this year, the system of incentives for education workers, as well as salaries of heads of educational organizations and their deputies, will be reviewed," Gani Beisembayev said.
According to him, the Ministry is currently working to improve the National Educational Database. It will reflect information about the organization of education, personal data of the teacher, academic performance and quality of knowledge of students, etc. In general, the updated system will help eliminate all corruption risks.
In total, about one and a half thousand heads of secondary education organizations in Astana and four northern regions of Kazakhstan took part in the meeting. A dialogue platform was launched for them, where participants were told about the results of control and monitoring activities in the field of education and upcoming plans for the current year. These are improving the quality of education, the development of inclusive and special education, digitalization, ensuring the safety of children and others.
Earlier, the Minister held meetings with the principals of schools in Almaty, Turkestan, Almaty regions and Zhetisu. The forum will continue in other regions of the country.
