The director of our school Anar Alibaevna and the English teacher Alguzhina Aigerim Amirovna are at the Global Cities conference dedicated to the 10th anniversary of this project in Washington, USA, as part of a delegation from our country, which was invited by Marjorie B. Tywen, founder and president of Global Cities, Inc., the Bloomberg Philanthropies program. This project was launched at our school last year, during which the children of grades 5-6 studied the current environmental issues of their native land and other regions of our planet. This project collaborates with cities around the world to raise global environmental awareness among the next generation through its multinational interactive Global Scholars educational program. The delegation from our country is represented by Tanybayeva Madina Aglanovna, President of the National Academy named after Ibrai Altynsarin, Shayakhanova Rosa Akpanovna, methodologist of the Methodological Center of Astana, as well as teachers from Astana, Turkestan, Pavlodar and Petropavlovsk.
