This year, the Republican Congress of Teachers is being held for the first time today, October 5, on a professional holiday – Teacher's Day. At this forum, the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev addressed the teachers of the country with a welcoming speech and address. The appeal stressed that "the quality of school education directly affects the development of the state, and what kind of school will be depends on the teacher."
Every point of the President's speech was relevant, and some points for me, as the headmaster, were a guide for further work.
In particular, the aspect of supporting young professionals and creating favorable conditions for their work at school in the early years was important. It was also said that every fifth graduate of pedagogical universities is not employed by profession. And the reason, I think, is precisely the lack of attention to young teachers. Hence the shortage of teaching staff in the country.
The opinion of the Head of State is also relevant on the cardinal renewal of approaches to the training and advanced training of teachers and simplification of their certification.
It was also important to appeal to parents, who should pay sufficient attention to ensure that the child in the family is not subjected to psychological pressure.
